Saks OFF 5TH, an outlet division of luxury retailer Saks Fifth Avenue, has reached a $1.5 million settlement in a class action lawsuit alleging deceptive pricing practices. The lawsuit contends that Saks OFF 5TH misled consumers by advertising improper discounts on merchandise, thereby violating consumer protection laws. Despite agreeing to the settlement, the retailer maintains it has not committed any wrongdoing. Individuals who qualify for the settlement are those who purchased Saks Fifth Avenue-branded products at a discounted price from Saks OFF 5TH in California, or online with a California address, between January 1, 2011 and November 1, 2024, and have not received a refund.
