Settlement Summary
Renowned fitness equipment company, iFIT Health & Fitness, agreed to a $2.4 million settlement over a class action lawsuit alleging that the company misrepresented the continuous horsepower of its NordicTrack and ProForm treadmills. The lawsuit claims that consumers may not have purchased these treadmills, or would have paid less, had they been aware of the true horsepower of these products. This settlement benefits customers who purchased a NordicTrack or ProForm treadmill between November 22, 2015, and January 15, 2020. Despite the settlement, iFIT has not admitted to any wrongdoing. In terms of the settlement, affected class members can select from benefits like a treadmill maintenance kit, a treadmill mat, or subscription benefits for iFIT’s workout and wellness service. The final approval hearing for the iFIT settlement is scheduled for August 25, 2025, and eligible class members must submit a valid claim form by June 12, 2025.
